Continued Journey to the Heart of Beauty and Soul: Fireworks of Life

By Rosemary Veilleux
Saturday, July 8th, 2017

Dear Friends,

July 4th was Independence Day here in the US.  Celebration abounded around cities, towns and neighborhoods with fireworks, music and picnics.  I have to say this summer holiday is not my favorite holiday.  The loud noise of the fireworks has sent several of my dogs and friend’s dogs into pure terror over the years.  Imagine what these beings are hearing when we are hearing some of the louder fireworks!  I know that a couple of my dogs have feared for their lives.

One sweet doggie of mine, Cosmo, a beautiful Australian Shepherd, would pant, tremble, and pace whenever a firecracker exploded.  His heart would race and he would have incontinence of his bowels and bladder.  Eventually I found some natural supplements that worked somewhat with his anxiety.  However, in looking back, I realize that in my desire to help my sweet boy, I fed into his fear with my own tremendous concern for his wellbeing.  My intentions were honorable but my tactics a bit off.  I would hold him and coddle him, and allow my own anxiety to rise watching him suffer.  Cosmo, being a sensitive soul, was looking to me for guidance and what he experienced in addition to his own fear was my anxiety as well.

Fast forward to this year, I now have a 5 year old Australian Shepard, Waldo.  He started out in his first 3 years of his life with minimal stress around the fireworks.  This year however, his anxiety heightened and every loud bang sent him running to me very anxiously wondering how he should respond.  This time, instead of enabling his fears, I clapped my hands, got excited and exclaimed that wasn’t it wonderful that people were having fun!

I would still pet him and hold him a little but I set limits when he tried to crawl in my lap and claw at me in fear.  I would firmly explain to him that he was safe in this lifetime and that his fears are from other times and places when he was not safe, other lifetimes.  I would then distract him with something fun like a dog treat or a play with one of his toys.

For years, with Cosmo, I would dread the upcoming day of celebration.   Many years ago, my neighbors lit so many fireworks that my house seemed to be smoking and I thought it was on fire.  I drove around the neighborhood begging for people to stop lighting the fireworks letting them know what my poor dog was experiencing.    Soon after, I wrote a letter to the editor for the Seattle Times about fireworks and Animals that became published.

What I realized in these experiences with my precious animals is that I was also part of the problem.   By changing my response to the fireworks with Waldo, I am having a quicker outcome of relief with him than I ever did with Cosmo.   An interesting note is that my other dog, Willy, wasn’t bothered by the fireworks at all this year.    And when the fireworks went off by the dog park over the weekend, I observed that several dogs did not have issues with the fireworks at all.

Animals, like humans, come to this earth with issues they need to resolve.  I have experienced my animals change and grow leaps and bounds when I work with them on their issues.  I have found by talking to them, showing them pictures telepathically of outcomes I am desiring, they respond!

I have an 18 year old cat, Sierra, who hid in the closet for 3 years while Waldo was a puppy.  Australian Shepherds have a longer puppy span!   I finally smartened up and communicated with her and showed her how to hold her space better (telepathically) with her brother and explained that I would very much like her to be part of the household again.  This was 2 years ago.  Within days, she came out of the closet, (literally) and has been out since.

Fast forward to bringing Willy home 16 months ago as a 9 week old puppy.    I was worried Sierra would once again pursue her safe place in the closet, but she held firm to her spot.  She sits proudly in the hallway on her favorite chair and when she moves all the animals give her space.  She shifted her energy so profoundly that none of the animals bother her!!  Even the puppy!

I can’t change that people are going to set off fireworks.   And I admit, I like watching the bigger fireworks displays over Elliott Bay here in Seattle.  However, I hope over time more people will become increasingly conscious about how the loud noises upset the creatures of this earth.  I have witnessed birds overcome with confusion over the loud noise and smoke.  I found one bird in my wood stove covered in soot, the day after my neighbors lit so many fireworks as I mentioned above.  Luckily, she/he was alive and I was able to release her back outdoors.

In the meantime, I will continue to do my best to help my sweet family member Waldo, overcome his fears.   I will continue to work on how I respond to his anxiety and fears as well as my other animal family members and remind myself how they too are here to learn and grow!

This is also a wonderful reminder that perhaps we can do the same for ourselves when we have experiences that cause us tremendous fear and anxiety.   Perhaps we can acknowledge to ourselves we have fear but then set limits gently in terms of how we coddle ourselves with them.  Often times our worries and concerns are based on past life or childhood experiences.  If our response to something feels over the top in terms of our emotional reaction than there is a good chance it’s rooted in other times and places.

Turning your attention to something fun, distracting yourself with something that makes you happy can  dissipate anxiety and fear.  If you reframe an experience to have a more positive meaning, much like I am doing with Waldo, then you can experience tremendous relief within your emotional being.

And if you are hiding away in your home due to fears of getting out in the world, remember my experience with Sierra!  Hold you space and what you desire so clearly and profoundly that no one will bother you.   And most of all enjoy the natural fireworks that is your LIFE!

Journey to the Heart of Beauty and Soul: Why did the Chickens Cross the Fence?

By Rosemary Veilleux
Thursday, June 22nd, 2017

Dear Friends,

Currently, I seem to be surrounded by chicken energy, literally!  The neighbors down below me have chickens and my new next door neighbors have recently brought home chickens.  Last week when I went to visit a dear friend, she took me to see her neighbor’s chickens.  I never realized how beautiful these creatures are.  They look like exotic dancers with their soft feathers of various colors!  They have a sweet little trill as they talk to one another and to others.  I also did not understand how intelligent they were until now as well.   I just learned chickens communicate with more than 24 different sounds and each has a different meaning!

The other day, I woke to my neighbors two chickens strutting quietly across the lawn.  It was serene and beautiful to watch them gently pecking the ground for bugs and other yummy treats.   Luckily, I was able to see them before letting my dogs out.  I talked gently to them and encouraged them to follow me as I  led them back to their own yard.

I was amazed when the bigger of the two birds started talking to me very sweetly and she encouraged the younger more immature bird to follow.  She trusted me and in an instant we were friends.  They walked down the stairs with me to the bottom part of my yard, and went through the gate with me and into their pen.   They didn’t hesitate for a second.

Unfortunately, they came back later and I did not see them before letting my dogs out in the yard.  My younger dog thought it was great fun chasing them and he succeeded in catching my new friend.   She passed away within a few minutes.  I was very sad in that moment.  In meditating over this incident, I realized she easily could have saved herself by flying over the fence but she would not leave her buddy who went into the bushes.  In fact, I sense she put herself in harms way to save her friend.    I am deeply and profoundly touched by her sacrifice.

Why am I sharing this with all of you?  First of all, it is a deep reminder to never judge a chicken by it’s feathers so to speak.  For a while now, I have felt the plight of the chickens around the world and how they are treated and it has deeply saddened me.   However, I never thought of them in terms of consciousness other than they are living beings and I don’t want to see any creature suffer.

This beautiful being was so open and chatty, very strong and lovely.   It was a tremendous reminder to stop for a moment and pay better attention to life around me.   I have 2 crows that have adopted me for the past 4 years and apparently are not leaving.  I have decided to relax into accepting their presence and started paying attention to their reason for being here.  It feels that they are watching over us and the rest of my animal family and bird friends.  Yes, they get a bit pushy that is their nature, but they seem to know when to pull back and let the others share in the goodies of the yard.

Another creature I have also taken for granted are fish.   Again, I never like seeing them suffer as they are living beings, but I never paid much attention to their intelligence and ability to communicate.  However, I do remember my brother telling me how his fish would come to the tank window to connect with him.   I also remember snorkeling in Jamaica years ago and how a little fish followed me around and kept coming up to my mask, over and over, and looking directly at me.

But just as I came to appreciate chickens this past week, I have come to appreciate fish on a deeper level for their intelligence and abilities.  A sweet animal loving friend sent me a video of a fish at the bottom of the ocean creating an amazing mandala to attract a mate.  This little guy spends 24 hours a day for 7 days creating this incredible object.  He has to keep working because if he stops the currents can destroy his creation.   After he finishes his project, he cleans up any debris to make it more attractive for his potential interest.

When I watched this video it brought tears to my eyes.  That is how deeply it touched me.  This sweet little being even appears to be smiling and having fun!  Here is the link if you care to see this amazing video.  I promise you, you will never think of fish the same way again!  http://inspirationbygod.net/3550/an-unbelievable-artist-in-the-ocean/

So why did the chickens cross the fence?  In this case to open up my heart further to all living beings.  Every single lifeform on this earth has a purpose, an intelligence and connection to the divine.   Even a tiny spider has consciousness and I have recently felt a very big spirit in a couple of different spiders I have encountered.    All of the examples above are a wonderful reminder to keep an open mind when encountering other creatures or human beings.  Even a person who seems “dull”, may hold amazing wisdom and talents.    It is also a special reminder to not judge yourself as well.  Animals are pure conductors of their talents and abilities.  If we pay attention, and observe how effortless life flows through them, we can learn to do the same.

May all of you step into your own inner wisdom, talents and abilities and share them openly and freely and unselfconsciously as my feather friend and this little fish!   And may you always find love and respect flowing from and to you from the creatures of this earth!!

Namaste,

Journey to the Heart of Beauty and Soul: Holding Sacred Space for Your Desires

By Rosemary Veilleux
Wednesday, May 31st, 2017

Dear Friends,

I have been reflecting on my last blog writing and what it means, on a deeper level, to create a sacred soul garden.   To hold something sacred is to hold it in great respect or reverence.  A garden is a place of beauty, creation, and peace.   To create a sacred soul garden would be to hold something in reverence while creating beauty and peace and aliveness in your life in regards to an item of desire.

I have realized how often, in wanting a particular thing in my life, I have not embraced the sacredness of the energy between my desire and the object of my desire.  To hold something in respect or reverence is to step into a place that creates merely by holding it in this space.

I have also become aware of the importance of allowing the reverence of a desire without attachment.  At the same time if we hold this desire in our vision this allows our desire to burst through or something even more powerful from the sacred space of soul.  When I have wanted something from a place of anxiety, I was not trusting or being in a place of reverence.

If you are desiring a health condition to be healed, then finding that place inside your being where you feel the sacred energy of the desire and holding it in peaceful reverence can allow this health condition to be actualized.  When we push/pull/prod/beg for healing the sacred energy of the health that we desire cannot spring forth into our awareness easily.

To hold a sacred space for creation to enter our life is to create with the divine.  Energy is constantly in motion, swirling around waiting for the creator to dip the brush into its color to create the tapestry of the inner soul garden, our desires, just waiting to be discovered.

I have worked with hundreds of people over the years as a nurse and healer.  One characteristic that I have observed in those people who obtained their desired outcome with their health was that they often held the energy of trust and allowing of that desired state they wanted.  Or they simply did not have an attachment to an outcome which allowed the physical intelligence of their body to move towards health.

There is also the element of divinely inspired action.  Knowing when to act and knowing when to sit and contemplate is the key.   When we ponder we are still being active but it’s more of a soulful action than a physical one.  However, the state of reflection is just as powerful as physical action, if not more so at times.   It is in the pondering, reflecting, or meditating in a space of trust and allowing that a bridge is created and creation, our desires, can then emerge on the other side of the bridge.

I know many might say that it is very difficult to sit in sacred reverence while dealing with a painful illness or injury.  I know, I’ve been in this situation many times in my life.   In these cases, observing the pain, frustration, and suffering, the best you can creates sacred space.   Knowing that any physical feeling or emotion is “not you” can allow the pain and suffering to move through you to your desired outcome of feeling good and at peace.  By becoming less attached to the pain, the space of sacred reverence, of creation is ignited.   The bridge to your desire is built.

I have a very dear friend in her 70’s who has shown me an amazing example with holding sacred space for healing to occur.  She has been experiencing some health issues for a few years.  During this time, she continues to live her life fully and holds a profound connection with her own soul.  My friend skis, hikes, bikes, walks, kayaks, and spends time with friends.   If you did not know her, you would never know that she had any health issues.   She is beautiful and radiant.  In all my years of working with people, I have never known anyone quite like her.  The Divine has told her she is to remain on this earth as she has much more to do for humanity.   She knows this is her destiny and is allowing her path to unfold beautifully.

My friend listens to her own inner guidance when a particular treatment does not feel good to her or no longer feels right for her own body.  She prefers a more holistic approach to healing, however, has chosen the medical approach when she was guided to do so.   A couple of physicians were not able to accept her way of healing. They could have learned a great deal from her if they had continued with her on her miraculous path towards healing and whole health.  What a wondrous gift to be a part of her journey as she returns to her healthy body once again.

One of the first things that I learned and remembered in nursing school, was the concept of Homeostasis.  Homeostasis is the ability of our bodies, and cells, to go towards stability with our health and physical functioning.  In order to maintain this stability, our bodies are in a constant state of managing very complex systems.  Our bodies have a physical intelligence of their own.  This intelligence to me is life force, creation, always moving towards a higher evolved space, if we allow.

Wishing you all the peace that comes from allowing sacred space and reverence in your life.   May you allow the incredible physical intelligence that is inside you to find its way to your own level of homeostasis, to stability.  And may your soul garden be filled with beautiful moments of health and all things good!

Namaste,

Creating Your Sacred Garden of Life

By Rosemary Veilleux

“Every garden needs a place for it’s creator to sit and consider the big picture- a coproduction between the gardener and nature”

Dear Friends,

This quote above was on my garden calendar for the month of April.  I love the feeling it invokes in me.  It inspires a feeling of peace and sacred energy that wells up inside when I read it.  For me, this place of pondering is under my gazebo on my deck.  The view here allows me to gaze over most of my gardens and nature beings that inhabit this space.

One of my favorite past times in the summer after working all day weeding and planting, cleaning bird baths and bird feeders, is to sit under the gazebo with a glass of wine as the sun is moving towards the horizon.  I love to take in the vibrant colors and watch the birds fluttering around while I plan for the next garden adventure.

I have learned much from gardening over the years.  As you most likely know, a plant will thrive once the proper placement is found that includes the right water, soil, sunshine or shade.  However, plants often desire to be near certain other plant friends.   These beings will sometimes want to be next to another plant where there is an affinity that encourages their growth.  This is much like being around others who we resonate with on a deep soul level and how those certain relationships stimulate our own lives.  Gardening for me is intuitive and gentle.

In contemplating over this desire and need to have a place to sit and ponder our gardens, I realize this reflection is creation moving through us.  Life force begging and urging to be released.  I consider how having a place of soulful inner dwelling for other experiences can also enrich our lives.  If everything is created out of a co-production, then what if we had places of pondering for each of our heart’s desires.

For instance, if we are dealing with a health issue, it would be wonderful to have a place for us to sit and and reflect between ourselves and our desires for our health.  A place where we can recline and look out at our creations, and decide where we want to plan our next grand adventure with our health and healing.  This place where we can see and intuit and perhaps even hear where things can be moved and shifted around to provide optimal growth and wellness.

Or perhaps you are wanting to make a change in your work situation and you feel stuck on a deep level.  Where can you create the space to sit and ponder the big picture of where you are and where you want to be with your career and livelihood?  This place can be a place where you hold the sacred space to feel what makes you feel fully alive, and what needs to be moved around in your career to experience increased vibrancy and happiness in your life

The key is to feel the Sacredness in the co-creation between yourself and your creations.  Creation invokes the feeling of ever expanding movement.  Just as creating a garden is an ever expanding experience between the gardener, the plants and other nature beings.   If you want more health, or a better career path, greater finances, more satisfying relationships, then feel the sacredness between yourself and these creations.  Find that sacred space to sit and ponder and visualize your desires.

If you can, experience these sacred moments with a peaceful loving heart.  Experience your desires, much like I do when looking out at the gardens after working with them all day.  Allow the experience to move through you as you sit and ponder the next step or adventure.  Know this is the ultimate life force/God flowing through you.  There is no need to grasp or hold onto anything firmly.  Just enjoy the moments of peace and allow creation to move through you, expand in you, and create the vision you hold dear.

Allow this co-production with the divine to plant and grow the seeds of your desires.  Find that sacred space within your own soul where reflecting and considering the big picture is quite enough.  And then trust the movement that is inspired from this quiet place of reverie.

From this place of trusting and inspiration you are telling the universe that All is Well and you remain in a receiving mode.   You might find a special place like a garden spot, or have a space by an alter etc.  However, the true sacred space is within your own heart and soul.  Connect with it and feel it and KNOW that the soul garden of your heart’s desires is growing closer and more beautiful every day.    You are the gardener of your own Soul.  Your life is your production and artwork.  How you co-produce with the divine is Sacred and Beautiful!

Wishing you many wonderful moments as you journey into Spring and Summer, of quiet sacred contemplations and experiences of the color and vibrancy of your own soul garden!

Journey to the Heart of Beauty and Soul: Embracing Your Inner Crazy

By Rosemary Veilleux
Wednesday, April 12th, 2017

Dear Friends,

This past weekend I was fortunate to have heard Anita Moorjani speak at the Unity Church here in Seattle.  I have heard her talk several times on the radio but to be in her presence was such a wonderful treat.  The unconditional love she embodies was uplifting and healing during my time at her talk.  If you have not heard of Anita, she wrote the book “Dying To Be Me”.

This book is her journey on the other side while her physical being was in a coma just hours from death.  She was dying from lymphoma that had ravaged her body.   When Anita came back from the afterlife she completely healed from her cancer within a very short time.

The doctors were astonished and told her this was not good news!  They did not believe that her cancer could go away that quickly.  In fact, they told her, they would keep looking until they found it!!   Despite Anita telling them she KNEW she was healed the doctors did not believe her.  Eventually, they did finally agree she was cancer free, many diagnostic tests later.

I’ve been contemplating on this inability that we have to doubt these kinds of things can happen.  And yet, in my reverie, I also have pondered about why we doubt so easily.   If our bodies are powerful enough to create illness, shouldn’t they be just as powerful to create health as well!

I had a conversation with someone this week about a fire I had a few years ago.  At that time, I was down in my den having dinner with a friend.   I kept feeling a very strong nudge to go upstairs and get some water.  I wasn’t feeling particularly thirsty, yet, this urge would not dissipate.  I succumbed and went upstairs to get a glass of water and thank my guardian angels I did!   My stove and backsplash behind the stove were in flames!  If I had not gone up stairs when I did, if I had hesitated even a few more seconds, I could have lost my home or had a much bigger issue to deal with.   And thankfully my friend was there to help with the fire extinguisher!

A few days after telling this person the story about the fire, she shared with me she did not believe me when I told her about my feeling that I was being guided to go upstairs.   She thought that it was just because I was thirsty, as simple as that.  She then shared that the day after we talked she heard a group of psychiatrists speaking.  They were talking about how things happen that we sometimes can’t explain.  Basically, they were talking about intuition, perception and sensitivity to the unknown.   She then told me she knew, after hearing these professionals, that I had spoken the truth to her about my experience.

Several years ago, I had quit my job as a nurse at Boeing, and took 6 months off from work.  I spent most of my days, walking in the parks, going to movies, reading books and sitting in contemplation.   Mostly just enjoying BEING!   After a couple of months, I was on one of my walks in my favorite park.  I was walking and gazing out at the water and beach and all of a sudden, the rocks came alive!  I’m not talking about metaphorically alive, I mean, really alive!!!  They were vibrating at a very high rate and actually talking, well more like chattering!  I realize now,  I was in such a quiet calm space inside myself that my sensitivities were heightened.  The experience lasted for about 20 seconds, long enough to embed into my consciousness and was one of the most profound experiences I have had in my life.

I have not shared that experience with many people.  You can probably guess why I have not, right?  Most people would probably say I was delusional, crazy perhaps!  And yet, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt this actually happened.  I was probably more clear than in most times of my life.   I have never had that particular experience again.  But I do know that experience is partly why I have always loved collecting stones.  They have their own life force energy that feels very much alive to me.

The common thread that runs through the stories above is that they all represent the unseen becoming seen!.  The unbelievable becoming believable! Many of us need an authority figure to validate our experiences or diagnostic tests to show what we already know to be true!!  Life seems so mysterious and yet when the above  kinds of things happen, life becomes magical and even more real.

If we start to embrace, believe and trust in what our senses are telling us, the mysterious and miraculous can become ordinary yet extraordinary!!  Every day we are getting prodded by the unseen world in a myriad of ways.  Some of this prodding can seem like it’s just coming from our own heads.  And yet, if we take a deep breath, and listen, feel,  and then act, the simple things can become sublime!

Today I asked my guides what to write for my blog.  I was guided to go to the water and walk along a path I enjoy here in Seattle.  My mind was urging me to go home and get some things done.  My soul and guides kept urging me to the water.  I listened and went to the water.

At the end of my path my eyes were drawn to several rocks of various shapes, sizes, striations, and colors.  I collected a few to add to my gardens.  I then remembered my experience so many years before with the rocks.  I knew then, I was being guided to share my story with you.   Maybe you will think I’m a bit crazy.   But just maybe, you will believe me without needing proof, and the door will open in your own soul for a similar profound experience if this has not happened for you yet.

I suspect you each have had amazing experiences some of which you may doubt within your own mind.  I urge you to believe, to trust, and maybe even to share with another person.    It may seem crazy to do so, but it is so much more fun than the alternative which shuts us done and creates our lives to be so much less colorful.

On this day of miracles, I wish you many crazy, wonderful, heightened moments where the ordinary moments grab your attention and make your heart sing!!

And wishing you a Blessed and Happy Easter,

Namaste,

Journey to the Heart of Beauty: Show your Beauty to the World

By Rosemary Veilleux
Thursday, March 30th, 2017

Dear Friends,

Back in the early 1990’s I sold my first car, a 1983 Mazda GLC.  I loved that little car but was embarrassed as I had not taken very good care of it.  When it came time to sell the car, I just knew no one was going to want to buy it. The upholstery was stained from dropping my drinks on it. The doors all had scratches and dings on them from various other cars hitting them as well as my own carelessness.   And the back doors would not open.

You probably can guess what happened.  It didn’t sell for over 2 months nor did I receive even one call despite having it in the “for sale” section in the Seattle Times.  At the time, I was working with a spiritual teacher up in Canada and I explained my situation to her.  She shared with me that I was focusing on all of the flaws of the car instead of the good things about it.  She pointed out to me that this pattern was a deeply ingrained pattern I held.  She communicated that I showed myself to the world in this same way, by concentrating on what I perceived as my flaws and then living my life from this place of insecurity.   This kept a lower vibration around me and did not allow any energetic space for my desires to find their way to me.

I took my teachers words to heart and went home and contemplated on my sweet little car.  I owned and drove it for 8 years and it always started up easily.  I drove it across country in 1986 to start my new life in Seattle.  It carried me on numerous trips without ever breaking down.  I was grateful for it.  And after feeling immense appreciation for this car, I put information on it back into the “for sale” section in the Seattle Times.

Within a day, a young woman and her father called me stating they were interested in the car.  They drove it for 5 minutes and we went back to my apartment and we drew up  a sales contract.  They then handed me a check for $1000.00.  The young woman was very excited about the car as she thought it was a luxury car for her.   After all, it had a cassette player!  She also thought that the doors not opening in the back was a bonus as she had young children and thought that would keep her children safer.  Although, I’m sure her dad probably had other thoughts about that issue.   However, my shift in energy towards the car allowed someone else to see the car in a positive new light and extremely quick!!  What an important and exciting lesson that was for me at that time and in the future.

Fast forward to 2006, I was selling my first home.  I had a set price in mind that I wanted for the house.  My realtor held a broker’s open house at my home and the group that gathered decided that the price of the house was worth about $40,000 less than what I was requesting.  I knew in my heart these particular realtors were not seeing the value of my yard and gardens and were focusing on the perceived flaws of the house.  I had spent many hours landscaping and creating a beautiful yard.  The children in the neighborhood used to enjoy coming into the yard and helping me garden, playing with my dogs and climbing my Japanese apple/pear tree.

I held firm to my own KNOWING, in this case.  I felt and knew that there was someone out there who would also see the value of the yard and love this home and feel it’s potential.  I was fortunate enough to meet one of the potential  buyers and was able to share with him how much joy I felt with the yard and my sadness in leaving.  This sharing was from a place of truth.

This man was the person who ended up buying my home.  The reason he bought the house was because he loved the yard!  His wife was excited about playing in my gardens.  And I ended up getting the full price I had in mind.    I am so happy I held to my own truth and knowing.  In this particular situation it paid off financially as well and I was able to buy my next new home with a better down payment.

My reason for sharing this with all of you is that sometimes we go out in the world from a place of insecurity.   We don’t see the value in who we are or what we are offering to the world.  We might be wanting a prospective love partner, a new job, greater health, more abundance.  However, if we are focusing on what is wrong with ourselves or in our lives, the love partner might not be able to get to us as our energy is not vibrating from a higher place of wisdom.  We might not get the job we are wanting as we feel somehow insecure about our abilities and the person interviewing us will feel this.  Or we might not regain our full wellness because we keep focusing on aspects of our health that are wrong at the moment.  In this case, focusing on the lack of health creates more lack of health.  Focusing on what is working creates even more things to work out for us.

As a nurse, intuitive, and energy healer, I often tell people to focus on all the things in the body that are working for them at the moment.  Even a person who has cancer in some of his/her cells, has trillions of more cells that are doing their job perfectly!  If you put the energy towards all of those cells that are working amazingly well then you will have more cells that will step up and do their jobs well too!

I am so incredibly grateful to that teacher, years ago, who pointed out a very deep pattern I was holding.  I still fall into negativity at times, but luckily, I have such strong experiences that worked out so powerfully and that continue to inspire me and hopefully others as well.

I am wishing all of you the power, healing, and abundance that comes from focusing on the good things that are occurring in your lives, no matter what they might be.  Beautiful changes can happen very quickly.  Even if you have to focus on the smallest of things that are working for you that is sufficient.

The good things will grow the more you water them with your focus, appreciation and imagination!  May this new Spring season be filled with the beauty of creating and allowing your hearts desires to bloom!

Happy Spring!

Journey to the Heart of Beauty: Lightness of Being

By Rosemary Veilleux
Saturday, March 4th, 2017

Dear Friends,

Last week my mail was stolen a couple times out of my mailbox.   It was a bit disheartening.   I knew that mail theft had been a big issue in my community.  In the past, when these kind of things happened, I would ask myself what attracted the situation to me.  And yet, as a dear friend of mine and spiritual teacher Melody Jones shares,  sometimes it is not always just ourselves creating a situation but rather there is a co-creation with the divine occurring.

First, however, I decided to look within myself to see if there were any old tapes of victimization going on.  I remember years ago a spiritual teacher telling me that when we are really clear about certain things we don’t attract issues around them.   For instance, if someone you love has a contagious illness and you were neutral and not afraid of catching it, there is a good chance you would be safe from experiencing this disease.

Shortly around the time of the above conversation with my teacher, I saw a picture of a hillside community in California where all the houses but one were completely destroyed in a fire.  This particular house was untouched and was centered in the middle of the hillside with every house around it burned down. That situation was such an incredible affirmation of what this teacher was sharing with me.   I was so curious about the people that lived in that untouched house.   What kind of thought processes did they have around fire, natural disasters etc?   Or did they hold firm to the belief that life is good to them.  Or perhaps they carried within themselves a strong feeling that just because something happened to someone else, it did not have to happen to them?  Or did they believe that they were always safe and protected?

Secondly, I thought about this issue of co-creating with the divine.  If this was a co-creation than I asked myself what was my part in this creation.  One thing I realized was  that I was able to communicate with the neighbors about the theft as I was clear I had a package delivered and knew the exact time of the delivery on the 2 separate days.   When I returned home my mailbox was empty both times.   If I did not have that clarity, my neighbors and I would not have known what had occurred and would not have been able to take steps to remedy this situation.

I also have a mantra that I often say to myself, which is “All is Well”.  If this is the case, than all is well in this situation too.  In fact, I had communication for the first time in 4 years with 3 different neighbors in my same cul de sac .  We were able to exchange offers to help each other out in this situation and in the future.

The other thing that occurred, which still makes me laugh, and brought lightness to the whole situation is a conversation with the post man that went almost exactly like this:

Me:  “I’d like to find out about getting a locked mailbox and how this works.”

Postman:  “You buy a mailbox and put it up.”

Me:  “Yes, but how does the mailman get the mail into the box.”

Post man: (sounding irritated):  “He’s a mailman!:

Me:  “Okay, but how does he get the mail into the locked box.  Do I give him a key?”

Postman: “No!  He’s a mailman, he can do it!!”

Me:  (At this point, I’m a bit perplexed and normally would be irritated  but I was finding it a bit humorous):   “Well, if the mailman can get the mail into the box, can’t someone else get the mail out?”

              Postman:  “No!!  He’s the mailman!!”

Me:  “Well, does this mailman have super powers??”  (I’m laughing inside as my dad was a mailman for over 30 years.  Maybe he had super powers too he never told me about!)

Postman:  (Not finding the humor in the conversation and still sounding very irritated),   “He’s the mailman, he just opens the box and puts the mail in.”

Me:  “I guess I’ll have to wait and look at the mailboxes and see what I can figure out.”

Postman:  “That is a good idea!”

I shared this conversation with several people  including my neighbors and they all said they couldn’t figure out how the mailman got the mail in the box either unless there was some sort of master key.   Phew, glad it wasn’t just me!!

The reason I’m sharing this communication with the postman with you is to show how we can “lighten up” about things that happen to us.  I could have become very distrustful, and held onto my anger at the person/people involved in stealing my mail.  I could have become angry at myself for “having created this situation”.   And I could have become very irritated at this postman who obviously was not going to give me much information.  I did find some victim energy patterns still inside myself which I energetically cleared.   But the bottom line is some good things came from this mail theft experience and I have a funny story to tell and am still laughing about it today.

Occurrences happen to us that are not fun!  But if we stay neutral as much as we can, and trust if possible, then we might just find  that the divine is leading us to where we need to go.  And if we stay light in our hearts and minds, we might even find something to laugh about.

Wishing you all, lightness of being, and laughter every day!

Lots of love,

Rosemary

Journey to the Heart of Beauty: The Force is Within Your Heart

By Rosemary Veilleux
Wednesday, February 15th, 2017

Dear Friends,

I am wishing you a very special Valentine’s Day although by the time that you read this, the day will have passed.  However, the heart energy that is generated by this day does not pass, it endures just as the heart energy I am sending to all of you continues.  Love, when expressed in any way, is always a good thing.  It is pure life force energy and the energy that heals.

Recently, a dear friend of mine sent me a video of a Baptist Minister, Mark Lowry, entitled “They Cut my Britches Off”.  I am sending the link to this video at the end of this article.  It is a wonderfully hysterical video and this man is hilarious.  This video is this man’s story of his journey after his motorcycle accident.  You can guess by the title part of what happened to him!

However, the part I wish to emphasize in this writing is when he speaks of the surgery he endured after breaking his leg in the accident.   The doctors had to place cadaver bone in the bottom part of his leg which was beyond repair.  In this part of his talk/routine he starts sharing about what it is like to have other people living in his body.   He then proceeds to stroke his leg and stating how much he loves the people in there.  Very funny stuff!!  This segment of the video is about half way through and only a small piece of it but this portion stood out for me.

I have been thinking about this video quite a bit and laughing every time I remember his talk.  But what strikes me as well is how ingenious this was for his “sermon” if that is what it was.  In this routine, he was also showing about the importance of loving other people.  And even beyond this, he was sending a tremendous amount of love to that part of his leg, which creates a wave of healing and regeneration to that part of his body every time he does this.  I would not be surprised if he healed incredibly well from this incident.

Gregg Braden, one of my favorite authors, and speakers, who is also a brilliant scientist, and mystic, talks about how science has shown we have brain cells in our hearts nervous system.  This is how we “KNOW” things intuitively.  It is how we KNOW when another person we love is in trouble or is thinking of us.   There is also much written about the energy field of our hearts extending way beyond our physical bodies connecting us with others in a very profound way.

This energy of the heart is what heals.  If you have a part of your body that you do not love, or are not liking because of the way it looks,  or perhaps it is damaged or injured in some way, then change this attitude if you can!  Love it like Mark Lowry loves all of those people in his body.  We have beings in our bodies and they are called our cells!    Each cell has an infinite intelligence that responds to our words, thoughts and actions!

If you can, every morning when you awake, hold your hand to your heart and affirm, “I Know”.  This will immediately connect you with your inner KNOWING.  Not the brain egocentric knowing but the deep inner knowing from the heart that connects us to the universal truths of life!

This past weekend I saw Rogue One, the new Star Wars Movie.    My favorite character in the movie is the blind warrior monk who verbalizes a chant over and over to focus himself.  Even though he was blind, his knowing was way beyond all the other warriors around him.  He was able to do things that others could not do.

This chant was, “I am one with the Force, the Force is with me”!    I woke that night after seeing this movie with those words ringing in my head.   The “Force” is the Universal Life Force Energy, or God as many call this energy.  To me, this Force is the heart energy, the Force that emanates out from our hearts when we express love in its purest most neutral form.   It is the Force that flows out from us when we send love out towards ourselves or another person in need.  It is this Force where miracles reside.

Remember this, when you or someone you love is hurting, injured or sick.  Remember YOU are the Force, it is within you!  Touch your heart, and send this Force, this pure love, to the part that is hurting and KNOW that you KNOW that healing can happen in an instant.

This is my wish for you dear friends.  May you KNOW this kind of love and may you KNOW the Force is with you and in you every moment of every day!!

Namaste,

Journey to the Heart of Beauty; Opening to the Mystery and Magic of Life

By Rosemary Veilleux
Friday, February 3rd, 2017

Dear Friends,

There is a new show this past year on TV called “This is Us”. It is a very inspiring heartfelt story of one family. What I love about the show is how it goes back and forth between the parents coming together as a young couple and having a family and then going forward into the future when the children are older. I love how it shows the trials and tribulations of the young couple as they journey into marriage and parenthood. And then it shows how emotional and health issues develop in the children as they become adults.

Sometimes, we get stuck in blaming our past for things we are struggling with in our present. Perhaps we had alcoholic parents, or angry parents, or emotionally shutdown parents, etc etc. Maybe we were bullied as a kid or ostracized from certain peer groups. The list goes on and on with things that we may have experienced that continue to cause us emotional distress.

The unfortunate thing that happens when this shutdown occurs is that our energy becomes congested and stagnant. The result can be inflammation, infection, cancers and other various maladies in the body from the lack of our energy flowing in a healthful way.

What I love also about the show mentioned above, is how it shows the young couple before they have children struggling but in love. It shows them loving their children and making mistakes. It also demonstrates how, when we develop emotional issues from our past, it is usually done with a certain amount of blindness.

What I mean by this lack of seeing, is that we often don’t see with 100 percent accuracy how experiences truly occurred and we don’t see all the other factors that were involved with the making of that experience. So from that perspective, we often don’t know the truth about why things happened the way they happened.

If we are struggling with a certain issue that has been bothering us for years, and if we have a hard time letting it go there is an easy way to get the energy moving. Simply by affirming to yourself that you may not know the exact truth of why things happened the way that they did. Affirming to yourself, that you may not really know why the people involved did what they did and what caused them to act in a certain way. That is the truth.

Simply by affirming these things to yourself, energy starts moving towards healing. The more you can move into a place of neutrality and acceptance towards any situation in your life, the greater chance you have of a healthy body, mind and spirit.

Life is mysterious and that is part of the beauty of life. Sometimes the healing is in accepting the mystery of what is occurring at any given moment. And then hopefully being open to the magic that this situation might have for us that is right around the corner. With acceptance there is grace and tremendous power. And in grace there is healing.

I wish for all of you healing that comes from accepting the mystery, magic and grace of life.

Listening to Inner Nudges

By Rosemary Veilleux
Friday, December 2nd, 2016

Dear Friends,

I was on my way to the gym yesterday when I realized, about half way there, that I did not remember my gym shoes.  I was not in a hurry yet it still felt like a bit of a pain to have to turn around and go back home to get them.  As I was driving down one of the main thoroughfares on my way back home, I noticed an animal trotting slowly down the middle of the road directly towards the front of my car.  I slowed down and the animal kept coming closer.

As it approached the car, I realized it was a dog and as it got  closer I saw that it had a white face, a golden retriever it appeared to be, most likely with very poor vision.   I came to a stop and she came right to the car and then turned towards the sidewalk.   I got out of my car in an attempt to reach the fearful animal, as did the person in the car behind me.  The anxious dog kept moving again down the center of the road stopping traffic and moving around the cars.  The woman behind me told me she was on her way home from obtaining chemotherapy but felt she needed to stop as the doggie was clearly in a state of anxiety.

After several attempts, myself, the woman in the car behind me, and a neighbor were able to corral the sweet ole gal who I could see had some significant health issues.   We pondered what to do, and I decided to put the sweet being in my car and drive her to the local veterinary clinic to make sure she was not hurt.   The other lovely people helped me lift her gently into my car.  The veterinary clinic happily took her in, fed her and gave her a warm bed as we searched for her owners.  The good news is we found them and she was not too far from home.

The reason I am sharing this story is that I was so touched by the concern of all the drivers, the neighbors and the veterinary clinic.  All of them showed concern, caring and love for this aging animal even though one person was clearly dealing with her own health issues.  I contemplated how I was guided to turn the car around and go home after forgetting my sneakers.  Maybe it was just a coincidence, but I like to think that I was one of the angels of the moment for this being and her family.  I was able to commune with her gentle spirit and was touched by her aging grace.  Even if it was just a coincidence that I had to turn around, it turned out to be a blessing, and not a pain in the you know what as I originally thought it was.

I contemplated on all those moments when we get sidetracked by unusual circumstances that occur.  I remember reading a story about a man who stopped at the local drug store on the day of 9/11/2001.  It was on impulse and he would have made himself late for work.  Instead, he saved his life by following the impulse as he was a worker in the twin towers that came down that day.  Not all impulses and unplanned changes are that dramatic as shown in my story above.  However, simple changes that seem like such a nuisance can create moments of pleasure and blessings for ourselves or maybe another if we stay neutral about what is happening.

There are billions of details being coordinated in the universe at every moment to direct our lives.  Many of the reasons for coincidences that occur could never be known by our limited human brains at this time.  However, if we wait, stay grounded, and stay hopeful, miraculous things can surface in our lives no matter what is happening.

Many people right now are very discouraged by the political climate we currently are experiencing.  I’ve had people tell me they fear for their future and for their children and grandchildren’s futures.  When I read all the news stories,  I too find myself in fear.  And yet, when I see and experience all the loving people that are around me such as the people who went out of their way to help this sweet older dog, I am reminded about what a wonderful world we live in.  I know that the love we share with one another spreads out into the world and creates more love.

Things happen that may seem very bad as we all know.  And yet, I wonder if we can suspend judgment for just a bit and remind ourselves of all the things that are occurring at any moment in time that are amazing and wonderful.  Sometimes these occurrences are created by coincidences, sidetracked plans, and followed impulses.  I can’t help but feel hopeful when I experience things as I did the day I forgot my sneakers and when I read stories such as the one about the man who stopped at the drug store on 9/11/2001.

Perhaps if we just let go a little and listen and respond to the universe guiding us, we can have a bit more fun, relax a little more, and breathe easier knowing we can’t control everything around us.  If we know that there is a benevolent loving universe co-creating with us and attempting to guide us to our next grand experience, we can feel more hopeful about our future and the future for our children and grandchildren.  This universe directed several earth angels to help an aging doggie.  Imagine what other life experiences are being created right now to guide and help each one of us to a place where we are safe and loved.  This same universe is guiding us to unimagined adventures!   How beautiful is that!

Namaste Friends.  May you find peace in the love of all beings around you, both of this world, and beyond….
